KL Driving School (新北市私立光隆汽車駕駛人訓練班, "the School") respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan). This policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected on this website and in our enrollment services.
- Data we collect
Through the online forms on this website: your name, phone number, e-mail address, the course you are interested in and your message. At enrollment, as required by motor-vehicle regulations: a copy of your ID / Alien Resident Certificate, photographs and your health-check form.
- Purpose
To answer your enquiry and arrange your course; to carry out driver training and apply for your learner's permit and licence tests with the Motor Vehicles Office; to notify you of course and test dates.
- Disclosure
Data required for licence applications is provided to the Motor Vehicles Offices of the Highway Bureau as required by law. Apart from this, and unless required by law, we do not disclose your personal data to third parties without your written consent.
- Retention
Student records are kept for two years. Data submitted through the online forms is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with.
- Your rights
Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act you may ask to access, obtain a copy of, correct or supplement, stop the collection, processing or use of, or delete your personal data. Please contact us by phone or e-mail; we will verify your identity before acting on the request.
